Dreams are made by many small factors. When a dream comes true, a window opens to a new world. And when a dream shatters, it shatters into no less than thousands of small shards in a way that can never be restored to the same whole that carries the aura of the dream and the initial infinite hope. The broken window represents in an interdisciplinary way through the fracture mechanics the origin of the fracture, its propagation, the driving force on a crack, and the truth that reveals that it will never be whole again. In order to perform an analysis, fracture mechanics divides the solid material into small and finite elements and examines the limits of each element which is the starting point for the next one.
